The Soulville Steakhouse in Nottingham

Wow… what a lovely place. Eat before 5pm at weekends (6pm midweek) and it’s £13.95 for a 3 course meal… and what a great meal it was! Mine was Chicken wings, ribs and then sticky toffee pudding! Really nice relaxed atmosphere, great service. Just wished we lived closer❤️

Wow!!! I've eaten a lot of steaks in my lifetime and this place has got to be up there in my top 3!My wife and I went there just before closing and even so they accommodated us immediately.Food is fabulous and the manager; Sheriff (not sure of the spelling) was so friendly and polite.Absolutely Fabulous!

We used to come quite a lot - the food is nice but it’s just a very very cold restaurant - I don’t think they have heating on. Totally ruins the experience for us so stopped going. We are going to go again, as I said the food is nice, and hoping it’s more comfortable and warmer this time!

* The service was good, the staff were helpful and polite but unfortunately there was a problem with the machine, which delayed the flow of service.*The venue was clean and well set up, Plenty of selection of drinks and food.* The mix grill was good but the creamy mash was dry,the meat selection was good but lacked flavour. Our party had a mixed Bar B Q platter and that was Awesome, the homemade Bar B Q sauce was Amazing.

So disappointed with our last visit. We absolutely adore this place which is why we keep coming back. Sadly on this occasion the chips we so hard we thought they might break our teeth if we ate them. Luckily the steak was cooked to perfection but the chips were naff. Might wait a while before we come back.

Couldn't fault our experience at all. Party of 19 catered for with ease. Staff were on hand for anything we needed but they we so on the ball, we never did need them. Waited on fully at the table. The staff were very friendly and professional at all times. The food was amazing quality and a great price, good selection of drinks too. We will definitely be returning and can't recommend this place highly enough. Great central location too.

Absolutely banging. Had a meal for 2 both had steaks cooked perfectly all the trimmings were amazing and the peppercorn sauce is unbelievable. Staff very friendly. Best all all was the serious tunes being played ! Great atmosphere

New chef? Ok it was my first time in here and I'd been told the food could be a bit "hit or miss" however when the starter came out I knew we were on to a winner and we thought that perhaps it was a new chef? Anyway the starters were ace and the mains too, I had a big juicy steak and couldn't fault it or the bits that came with it.. managed to squeeze in a pudding too which wasn't quite as good a standard as the first two courses but still nice.. all in all a great experience so can only highly recommend it.. We WILL be back!

The establishment itself looked unique and it was! We got chicken shares as a starter and was so tender, so delicious! Fillet Steak with all the trimmings was the best though - excellently cooked & the peppercorn sauce accommodated the meal well! We had choc fudge sundae (not a fan of chocolate ice cream) but was nonetheless superb! Highly recommend for the quality you get and amazing Motown 1960s music to create an ideal atmosphere! My man & I enjoyed it! Just make sure you book - we were fortunate to get in last minute! 🥩🍨
