Toby Carvery Colwick Park in Nottingham

After walking around Nottingham Uni for the Offer Holders Day, we decided to pop in for a carvery and so glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious and staff very welcoming, highly recommend having a meal there. Thank you.

We were seated immediately upon walking through the door. The food was fresh, the plates were nice and clean and the food & drinks sections were well stocked the entire time. The staff were friendly and it was overall a good visit.

Turned up on a Sunday afternoon without booking and it was very busy, the staff managed to fit us in within 15 minutes. Bar staff, waitresses, chefs and hosts were extremely friendly. The carvery was the best we’ve had for a long time! The lamb, turkey and gammon Were excellent and the roast potatoes were cooked to perfection. Well done all 5 ⭐️

Had the roast beef tonight and wish I hadn't, it was as tough as old boot leather. The veg, gravy and Yorkshire pudding were delicious. My wife swapped hers for pork but I had my taste buds set on beef. No one came to see us after we complained, not eating there again !

I really like a Toby Carvery, everything just tastes better than most other buffet type restaurants in my opinion. I mostly order a Yorkshire pudding wrap, more often than not the hunters gammon and turkey, it comes with roast potatoes and gravy, for five quid, it's fantastic. I highly recommend a visit.

Food was lovely! Unfortunately we were initially refused entry as they weren't taking walk-ins due to staff shortages. Had a word with the manager Leigham as had an 11 month old, it was late and wanted him to be fed so he kindly allowed us entry. Surprisingly a couple who entered 10 minutes after us as a walk-in weren't refused and seated. Was a little confused but the food was amazing so deserve the 3 stars!

In general, the place could do with a spruce up. The meals from the Carvery were hot and plentiful. Drinks, average price for the area, and the staff, very attentive and well mannered ,a nice place to eat.

Unlimited breakfast and coffee. Only issue is that we arrived after 10.30 and only got one cup of coffee as they removed the coffee pots at 11.00. Otherwise very good value and food

Excellent service with a good value me. I have the staff very friendly and helpful. A nice place to take a family for a good value and quality meal. Atmosphere very warm and welcome. Best to book as we did to secure a table as it get full very quickly. Puddings are very good and weakness. Profiteroles melted in your mouth.

A great carvery for a meet up with friends and family. The food is great and good portions.In terms of covid precautions all very good and tables placed a good space apart. Customer service is excellent - our waiter was really friendly and nice. Will definitely be coming back 🤩
