Been a customer for years. Awful service the owner was really rude and talking in a different language. Ordered a a burger got it home to eat started eating and tasted off I opened the burger to find a hair inside. So chucked it in the bin. Felt very sick after eating some of it to then throwing it all up and making me feel ill the rest of the day and losing half a days pay. Will no longer visit this chip shop and report them. Awful!!!

I visited the Oadby Fish bar and was delighted by excellent service and very good quality, delicious food. The premises were very clean and tidy. There was a good atmosphere from the staff who were helpful, courteous and attentive. The cost of the food was fair, and I was not kept waiting for my order. I recommend this establishment, and will certainly return to place other orders. NB My wife is coeliac so cannot eat wheat flour, from which the fish batter is made. They cooked her fish without batter in a separate fryer, so no risk of contamination. Marvellous!

Frist time at Oadby Fish Bar nice & clean.I asked to have my fish lightly battered which they did. I was not disappointed in the taste Wow fish was lovely, too much chips for 2 more like for 3 people, which is a good thing.The staff were very nice, keeping everyone safe only 2 in at a time .Thanks Oadby Fish Bar.

Best fish and chips around always go here the fish is always nice and chips are amazing... also do great kebabs... very friendly and there is one guy that works there thinks he is funny.... in fact he is very dry sense of humour

Greeted with ' what do you want ? ' No hello. I asked for Haddock and what I had was not Haddock ... It was the driest most inedible cod I have eaten in a good long time. The chips were good but the fish was terrible. You'd expect better from a place with fish in the name. I've been before and the food was good... But it might be some time before I try it again, if ever.
