Wigston Fish bar in Oadby and Wigston

It's a takeaway in wigston. They have a good take away menu from fish and chips to naan bread with kebabs etc.... meal deals are good there too.Fairly priced for the area.Staff are ok depends on the night if they are happy or not.Would recommend the chicken tikka in naan with chips but there's enough for 2 people in that 👍🏻

Absolutely awful!!! Sign says they are under new management, well if the weren’t bad already then they are even worse now. They have just sold me an uncooked pie - after going in and asking for a pie 3 times and the staff looking at us like we are speaking French. Absolutely ridiculous STAY AWAY!!!

Avoid this place. First of all I wanted mc d but the drive though was so busy and this fish and chips shop was next door so I thought il give it a go. I asked the guy for small fish and chips and he was packing my food I asked can you please put the fish separate and he showed attitude and slammed the fish on a different piece of packing paper. I wouldn’t of gone out my way to do this review but when I saw my food the chips were all stale and it was like he recooked it.. me and a friend of mine just looked at the food and threw it away to avoid food poisoning and for a week. After I checked the review online and I agree with all the negative feedback for this place which I checked it earlier

Worst chip shop I have ever had! Avoid at all cost. Chips was raw and tasted of oil. The fish was tasteless and the batter was awful. The curry sauce tested of pepper. Will never order from here again.

Be great if they offered delivery. Lovely freshly made naan in front of you but could do with more salad. Persons with long hair, should really wear hair net when handling food. Would've given 5 stars served more salad with mixed meat naan,and if the person with long hair had it fastened in a hair net. Even though it was in a pony tail,it was still swaying and the length of it warrants a hair net, I found it off putting

Food was cold when arrived home after collecting, gave out wrong food and when rang up to ask why had incorrect order manger was rude. Chips were mouldy and looked like cheesy chips so wernt fresh. Wouldt go here again.

A brill Chippy, the food is always of excellent quality. The premises are cleaned to a high standard too. The staff are great too. Always ready with a smile, well mannerd and polite, especially the to young ladies who are serving, they make you feel welcome and are apprective of your custom. I highly recommend the Wigston Fish BarSteph

Nice clean looking chippy, but portion size seems to vary quite a bit from order to order. If I say small or large, I would like to have more confidence there. Oh and the dish is great.P.S. can others reviewing be a little more civilized and nuanced in their efforts rather than bloodthirsty ignorant 'bath-plugs'.
