Bridgford Fish Bar in Rushcliffe

Had visited a few times on match day, then sat down for food on this visit. Got to say I think it is the best fish and chips in Nottinghamshire!

We’ve been going in here for years pre match at Forest but recently the prices have gone up a ridiculous amount so we’ve found elsewhere for our pre match meal.

The fish was so raw it was still swimming in the ocean utterly disgusting! The chips had roots most decent thing of the meal was the bog standard curry sauce!

Friendly staff, great chips, and a selection of alternative chip shop food. Particularly recommend the southern fried potatoes

From my experience from purchasing fish and chips this evening... The cashier lady was quite dismissive and rude to me. Also.... The fish was so over fried! It nearly chewed my teeth out!! Also the chips were so soggy they were drenched in oil! Beware!

As a regular to this excellent chip shop I just felt it necessary after having my usual large fish chips & peas to share with everyone how superb the food is, always to high standard lovely fish. Thanks & the staff are great too! Support your chippys there can’t be one better!
