Earl of Chesterfield in Rushcliffe

Haven't tried the food, as we just popped in for a drink. A real village pub, with a friendly, warm atmosphere. Could see the kitchen and it looked impressive so may well be back to try the food. Has improved enormously since the last time I was there 20yrs ago!!

Lovely and friendly atmosphere. Phil and Louise are so very welcoming and their service and food is top notch.

Lunchtime meal, large portions, beautifully presented and very tasty. Excellent service. Restaurant warm and spacious.

Lovely place, friendly obliging staff. Good choices limited of you're gluten free, but excellent knowledge of allergies. Other menus looked good. No qualms about going back.

Popped in tonight for an impromptu dinner. Great food and good helpings. Extensive menu (about to undergo a tweak). Selection of four real ales. The new owners were really friendly and were proud to show us round. Tables were distanced so it had a nice spacious feel. Large car park. Ignore previous old reviews, the pub is under new ownership. We can't wait to go back and try Sunday Lunch. Highly recommended.

Lovely food and friendly staff. Delicious off the menu meals provided when vegetarian option not available. We're looking forward to our next visit - and hopefully the Halloween special!

Had a meal here whilst stopping at the nearby caravan park. Food was good, with a fair selection. I would say that the prices are average. We enjoyed it so much we went back for Sunday dinner! Nice and cosy and well kept. Dog friendly inside and out. Staff were welcoming and hospitable. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Would definitely use again if in the village. Recommended *****

Popped in for a refreshing pint of Peroni and a coke for my lad. Pleasant location in a lovely village. Single staff behind the bar caused a slightly longer wait due to the other customers queing awaiting food 🍲 or drinks. due to the exceptionally hot day we had.

Very rarely is it this easy to eat out with my little boy who has a dairy allergy. Trying to work out what foods are safe on menus is a nightmare. Not here, they "get it" this was so super easy. We will be visiting again.
