Escabeche in Rushcliffe

Beautiful food and great wine.. Staff very friendly. Just wish if we'd had more time, we felt rushed off the table, which was such a shame.

Food excellent, deceiving more filling than it appeared. Really good, attentive service, very accommodating. Annoyingly long survey at the end of the meal detracted from the experience. Quite expensive would not take grown up family there to eat. Better value for couples and work parties etc. More pudding options and pictures of food on the menu showing portion sizes would be good.

Nice open and airy, no crammed in to seats / tables. Very good service, attentive when needed to be and listened and noted when we needed additional time. Food service was quick, and was also good when it arrived. Been there before, and will certainly be going again.

I went to this restaurant last Sunday.I can happily say, the food was sensational, the atmosphere extremely pleasant and welcoming, with mostly kind and inviting staff.The only drawback would be the waitress, serving myself and my dad.She what’s the touch abrasive at points, pushy when it came to us ordering food, and she came across as disinterested when doing her job.Other than that, I really recommend coming here, and look forward to doing so again with family and friends.

A lovely restaurant, staff are really friendly. As a vegan, I often struggle to find good tapas options, not with escabeche. The sweetcorn empenandas and aubergine tagine 10/10

Half our meals were fantastic and the others not so much. Cauliflower cheese arrived watery and kind of tasteless, the parmesan cheese chips were over seasoned and under parmesaned! To top it off we were over charged, once I notified the waitress after paying the bill. She arrived back with a refund but forgot that the tip had been calculated on the full bill price and not the reduced one. It wasn't much but its not the point, the manager should have ensured the bill be re calculated correctly the second time. I may be being picky 😅 i just hope all that tip money goes to the waitresses and not into the business.Other than that, it seemed like a really good place.

Great experience. I believe there are 2 restaurants in nottingham, which always serve tastey food. This restaurant has very friendly staff, and of course it serves lovely food with a tastey sangria and beers. The sticky chilli beef is one of my favourite dishes. I will definetely be back.

Vegan review:My friend pre booked and informed the restaurant that one of us was vegan so they provided a vegan menu. As there were a group of us it was a set menu.When we arrived they handed out the menus, mine was handwritten.For £22 per head, there was so much food! It was tasty, some tomato dishes were very similar tasting but there was enough of a variety for it not to matter.I also enjoyed a vegan soya hot chocolate which was delicious.The staff were attentive, the service was great, the food was really good and the portions were huge.I would recommend it and would eat here again.
