Lamb steak is so good.

Five stars does not do it justice a return visit after approximately five years and certainly as good if not better, Afternoon tea with my wife to celebrate a birthday and it could not have been better. Excellent

We had lunch at Langar Hall today to celebrate our 45 th anniversary. I have to say everything was just amazing. The staff were first class / the food was outstanding and we even had the sunshine so we could have drinks and coffee afterwards in your beautiful grounds. It was a wonderful experience as always. A big thank you to you all.

Leaving this review a few weeks late, however I have been twice in the last 6 months for lunch and this place is outstanding. Fantastic service and incredible food. If your thinking about going you will not be disappointed.

Very limited lunch menu choice. Only 1 starter and 1 dessert on offer for £34.50 Menu. Cheese souffle option £9.50 supplement which was extortionate especially as only 1 starter available! No alternative to Sticky Toffee pudding. Poor choice of icecream flavours. Only 3 available of non popular flavours. Compared to other similar local restaurants, I really think you need to offer more choice for your Lunch Menu. Very disappointed customer, after having such excellent lunches/dinners Pre Covid!!

Excellent food and service, quirky decor, warm and homely, perfect. Soufflé starter is to die for, interesting choice of desserts. Very reasonably priced for what you get.Great option for a celebration with family or close friends, I hope to visit again.

Arguably one of the best 'family' meals we have ever had... Impeccable service, incredible food, outstanding attention to detail, the whole experience was 'world class'. We even got to play croquet on the lawns after lunch, I cannot recommend this venue enough.

Beautiful location, a short drive from Nottingham, a nice break into the countryside for dinner. Some pleasant grounds to meander through. Staff friendly and welcoming, drinks on the lawn followed by a flavorful meal. Some interesting choices, I could have joyfully enjoyed a little more. Candlelit dinner could be a little brighter to enjoy the presentation, I would like to visit again for lunch or afternoon tea perhaps.

An experience, not just a meal out.The house is in an idyllic setting with far reaching views. The small meandering pathways and unusual garden features are worth exploring while you’re there.A quirky and memorable house, packed full of features, stunning location and a real hidden gem. You really should go once, and I’m sure you’ll return a second and third time, or more.
