Absolutely disgustingHaven’t answered there phone for soo long I’ve left a voicemail waiting for someone to get back to me had a groupon gift that has now run out because they didn’t answer there phones!!! And then they spoke so rudely toMe and put the phone after I tried explaining WOULDNT Recommend as they seem so rude!!!

My friend and I visited this lovely quaint looking tea room, we both love afternoon tea but on this occasion didn't state that when I booked, on arrival once seeing the beautiful cakes and decoration we wished we had....we came up with the idea of creating our own as there was so much available, we asked the staff if they could present it on a stand and they did a wonderful job of doing so, staff were so attentive and everything really was just perfect. Thank you platform 29.

Lovely little place and great afternoon tea.

Lovely afternoon tea - and cakes were beautiful! Staff very friendly and helpful. Took my 99 year old Mum so couldn't go upstairs and they found us an ideal table in the window. Brilliant for people watching!

it's was lovely to have afternoon tea with lovely ladies. very accommodating my friend couldnt walk upstairs they quickly arranged the table downstairs .The lady couldn't do enough for us .I will be going back thanks for everything .

Absolutely amazing. I put in the comments it was my mums birthday and they put a birthday banner up for her. Bless them, they even gave her some birthday macarons. Staff were so kind and friendly, I cannot recommend this place enough for the perfect tea room experience. Food was fantastic and scrummy, the homemade cakes were gorgeous! My mum thoroughly enjoyed her birthday which was made extra special by staff here. Thank you so much you’re all fabulous!

Found this gem on the web, my Mum, Daughter and myself decided to pop in for lunch today, 2 salads were absolutely lovely, (one ham and 1 tuna mayo) and the tuna and sweetcorn sandwich had more than enough filling, side salad and crisps. 2 of us had to have a portion of chocolate cake, must have been 6 inches high at least, and a scone with jam and clotted cream, all were absolutely delicious. The staff were so attentive and friendly, well worth a visit.

Had an excellent afternoon tea here, which was delicious and generous portions. We especially loved the scones.Friendly service too - they happily moved everything outside for us when we asked to sit outside in the sunshine.Highly recommend!

Sumptuous and substantial homemade afternoon tea with as much tea as we could drink, ably provided by the owner and chef, Mr McNulty.Tables downstairs, disabled access and loo. Two upstairs rooms for more sprightly customers. Very large choice of gluten free sandwiches, scone and cakes. Definitely a repeat visit required!
