Called in on way to football match very friendly service I'm gluten free and help me adapt my meal so I didn't miss out. When the meal arrive it was amazing hit all the right places will definitely be returning

Clean place, had a staff shortage but was clearly marked prior. Food was nice and hot with not much delay.The only thing I can pick on (and I'm really picking) is the starters and desserts should come out with their own cutlery and not thrown willy-nilly on the table but as I said it's really picking as all the cutlery was clean.

Absolutely fantastic service and quality of food, the fantastic waitresses had done a brilliant job, they asked a few times if we was OK and if we needed anything else which was good to see.

Oh wow. Pre booked Xmas dinner was dry and tasteless, tiny portions - sadly disappointing. Service was ok but they didn’t really want drinks orders so ran off before I could add mine to the list. Covid wise, tables way to close together (it may be legally ok but doesn’t make it acceptable). Groups on top of each other with other sections of the restaurant empty. No ventilation / windows open.Aesthetically the place looks great! Plenty of space in the car park.

Publican came and asked my 18 year for ID after he'd already been served with a beer. Apparently 18 year olds can't even have beer with a meal any more. He was polite enough and had no qualms about giving a refund but just got the impression he was a complete jobsworth. Very controlling over other staff. So glad I don't work for him.

Lovely atmosphere and the food is really nice. We had the Steak and Ale pie and was really tasty and surprisingly meaty. Service was fast and would return to the table to check all ok. Would come again

We visited the Nottingham Knight for dinner, staff were very friendly and pleasant. Food was OK, managed to hit the spot after a long day out with the kids. I ordered some beef dripping gravy to go with my steak, and it really just tasted like normal gravy that you would have with your roast... but apart from that all good. We finished with a sharing chocolate sundae, but unfortunately it defeated us, despite best efforts from our two small people...!
