Nyce in Rushcliffe

Ordered a breakfast roll, menu didn't say it came with baked beans - it just had the letter 'B' on the menu board and not the 'eans' - I didn't question what the letter 'B' was because I've never had baked beans in a breakfast roll so had no reason to assume it was part of it.Needless to say, it overpowered the entire roll, it was soggy and messy. So I thought 'nevermind' I'm still in the carpark I will just buy another one and say 'no baked beans' this time, and so I did. Only this time they put extra plum tomatoes in it, and when I returned to the car to eat it, again the roll was just a total soggy mess and plum tomatoes overpowered everything else. It tasted OK but wasn't worth the £10.00 I spent on both rolls.Going forward, if a customer doesn't want something specific in their roll, don't give an extra portion of something else without checking first. Especially something like plum tomatoes..I'm giving 3 stars because the service was pleasant and it was clean.

I visited today when out on a bike ride with a friend. The food was great and the service was friendly.

Great little place to chill read paper and meet the friendly locals. Lynn makes a great cooked breakfast and homemade cakes. Shame it has to close but hopefully won't be for too long.
