Great food and drink and a fantastic outside seating area

Overpriced and hardly have what you want from the menu. Coffee is like warm milk!

Sadly didn't enjoy the experience... had tuna an cheese panini and I expected it to be hot and it arrived warm, plus had to search for the cheese! Coffee was nice though.

Love Philos. Great range of goods, great place for a coffee and cake or lunch stop. Friendly staff and great venue.

Philos offers the best lunch-time sandwiches. My go to place when I do not vring lunh at work.

Changed to 1 star, 12.30 on a sunday and the shops closed even though they have a sign outside saying till 3pm. If you dont want the money vacate the premises and let another coffee shop who wants the money go there. Its also regularly closed way before the advertised 3pm. Ridiculous.

Lady in the shop asked for my order. I said ham and cheese baguette. She proceeded to put just ham and cheese in. When I asked for salad she said "you didn't ask for that". She then tried to bag it up and I asked if butter was added. She ignored me. I asked again, she said "what you want butter, you didn't ask" I apologized and said I didn't know I had to ask. Food was ok but the prices have gone up. Not happy with this surly customer service. This establishment used to be friendly.

Not much to say about this place lovely staff good seating arrangements new add on nextdoor for more seats downstairs with there being a garden outside were you can sit and a lovely upstairs seating area. Food is lovely freshly made and there is not much but not too little variety of food, crisps and soft drinks are very little on option but many hot drinks. You can also buy miscellaneous items for the house here as well

Nice place to visit, very comfortable surroundings with seating outside as well. Great staff very polite and helpful. Philos is situated in the centre of Ruddington right on the main high street next to all the shops. And they have a great selection of coffee' s and tea's as well as savories and cakes for you to try.Opening hours are Monday - Saturday 8am - 5pm. Sunday 9am - 4pm.The photo's show the main entrance with seating and one of the two rooms upstairs.
