The Botanist in Rushcliffe

Wouldn't recommend it for large groups, on two separate occasions, the group has main courses missing and has to wait 20 mins for it to arrive while everyone's food is getting cold.Food was average, service was OK.

Service was good friendly staff, we had starters onion pearls nice, calamari well underdone or cooked with warm oil as it was limp and not crispy, wings average, cauliflower wings nice . lamb roast dinner nice , burger nice, sea bass nice , chicken kebab nice garlic butter good & vegetarian wellington alright for mains overall the staff were excellent but I think the kitchen staff did not meet our expectations. We have eaten at the Coventry branch so thought we’d be treated with the same quality.. sadly this was all average and would Not have us returning . It was not bad enough to complain but not good enough to return on the quality of the food. But maybe it was a bad day at the office.

A very relaxed environment. Spent the afternoon drinking cocktails with friends. Excellent service by Shaw, Charlotte and James.

Amazing service, very good ambiance. I just love this place for their food & cocktails.This is one my favourite spots in Nottingham. I usually hang out here on every Saturday for the live music & couple of drinks.I would definitely recommend this place for food & drinks.

Absolutely delicious food. Everyone we went with, loved the mains. We had seabass, hanging kebabs, steaks, vegan burgers and lamb mint pie.

Had a fantastic meal here. We tried the hanging kebabs which were superb. Didn't know what the little tub of oil at the top was for though. Was very busy and noisy but they had live music which added to a great evening. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend booking though as it's very popular. Will definitely revisit.

Lovely atmosphere. Beautiful surroundings.Halloumi burger wasn’t the best I’d had, but was still nice. Chicken and chorizo kebab could have done with a little bit more chicken.Lovely cocktails and excellent service.

It was our first time in this beautiful place . It is a combination between traditional and modern design .Our service was amazing and the food was delicious in a warm and calm atmosphere. It has an accessible entrance for wheelchair users and parents with prams for the babies ! Nice and clean place recommended !Definately we will come back in the future! Thank you 💝
