The Carriage Hall in Rushcliffe

We stayed in the Great Oak Shepherds Hut for our 7th Wedding Anniversary with dinner at Perkins in the evening and breakfast in the morning. It was truly an unbelievable experience from start to finish. The hut was so cosy and an experience in itself. We even had our own Robins visiting which was lovely (must remember some bird feed, the next time).The food at Perkins both in the evening and in the morning was delightful. 110% compliments to the chef. Very well presented and attention to detail second to none. Tasted delicious.The staff from booking stage right through to check in, drinks at the bar, dinner and breakfast are a credit to Perkins/The Carriage hall.We will most definitely be back

Overall an enjoyable venue. Location come be better signposted from the road and if you have to have new staff working events make sure they know your product range being asked "which one is southern comfort" doesn't impress for amount of money spent on a round of drinks.Food was great and the space for the event is big but not overwhelming.

Had the most amazing wedding day at this stunning venue! Mel and the entire team made sure everything ran so smoothly and everything from the ceremony to the overnight stay in the shepherds huts was seamless. We had one of the tapas wedding breakfasts and everyone was saying how much they loved the food and how sociable and different the whole thing was - the mushroom risoni should not be missed! All in all, I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you so much Team Carriage Hall, you really made our day!

The Carriage Hall is a really beautiful location for events. Staff are really helpful and looks after all the guests. Highly recommend.

So glad to be back at Perkins, although it was in the carriage hall, I felt the sense of normality was ubiquitous and they went out of their way to make sure of that.The staff were friendly and helpful, as always and everything was excellent, furthermore, the place was immaculate, and the food was second to none.I can't wait for Perkins, my favourite restaurant to open again, its my one and only choice to entertain my corporate colleague's. That said, I would be happy to entertain guests in the present set-up.Thanks to all of the staff of which made my first eating out experience a excellent afternoon.

We got married at The Carriage Hall six months ago and we are still lost for words to explain how incredibly amazing the day was!We first met with The Carriage Hall team in August 2018 when we viewed the venue and instantly knew that was where we wanted to get married. The team were very professional and efficient throughout the planning process. The regular meetings were useful in helping us to plan the order of our day, the food and entertainment etc. Nothing was too much trouble. It was an added bonus that we were able to view our venue a number of times before the big day, as our ideas evolved we were then able to visualise how they would work with the space available.On the day, everything ran smoothly and without a glitch. All of those little worries that all brides and grooms have just disappeared as we trusted the staff to do what they do best. The venue looked breathtakingly beautiful. The food and service was 5 star and many of our guests still comment on the quality of the food - the best wedding food they've ever had!We stayed in the Shepherds Huts on the night of the wedding and enjoyed breakfast at Perkins the next day. The accommodation was stunning and it felt very special to be able to stay within the grounds of the venue.We would like to give special thanks to Catherine, Mel and Deborah who organised the finer details of the day. The whole Carriage Hall team are an asset to you.

Amazing venue. Cannot thank the team enough. The girls who worked the day of the wedding were amazing. The waitresses and bar staff were insanely nice and polite. We had an amazing day and loved every minute of it. Highly recommend for events and an overnight stay in the huts was lovely. We utilised the bath and the breakfast the next morning was lovely!!!

Wonderful experience all round! Fantastic location, building and food. Felt very safe with the excellent covid19 arrangements. Food was top quality and staff were all very friendly.

Beautiful venue for a wedding. Beautiful food, decent beer at a decent price. Friendly staff. Would 100% recommend!
