Lovely part of Notts. We had Panninis and Jacket Potato which was very tasty and nicely presented. We enjoyed the Swans and Ducks. Thank you 😊

Its lovely here, situated at the Hickling basin. Nice food & lovely cakes. Nice walk along canal to either kinoulton or towards Hose. Car parking available, but if busy can park on side of road. Does allow dogs.

As usual lovely relaxing tea and cake in the best seats overlooking the Basin. Quick friendly service and quality food.

This Tearoom was recommended by a friend to try when we were visiting the area. We were not disappointed! The appearance of the tea room is stunning and in keeping with being by the side of a canal.Staff were friendly, approachable and very professional. We ordered some paninis; all were perfectly presented and tasted amazing! As for the cheese and onion sandwich; it was made from freshly cut "doorstep" slices of bread....the person who had this didn't want their tea later as they were still full!It would have been rude for us not to sample some of the cakes and bakes too. There was such a choice and the portion sizes were very generous! We will definitely be back to work our way through the rest of the menu!

Lovely little place, gorgeous scones and cakes. Staff are really helpful too. We went here on a Sunday around midday and it was really busy, easy to see why though. For me the prices were reasonable if a little higher than average. Would visit again, perhaps during the week when it's not so busy.

Fantastic breakfast using locally sourced produce. Friendly and welcoming staff and a good selection of foods on the menu. Lovely surroundings, cosy inside on a cold day and tranquil duck watching in warmer weather. Great selection of homemade sweet treats and real branded sauces, always a bonus.

Brilliant service and food as always. Had to sit inside as weather was awful, first time I've taken my 2 big dogs in but this was not an issue, they even got a sausage each such a lovely gesture. Carrot cake was amazing.

I went here bases on a few comments of them having the best carrot cake in the world! Well obviously I haven't tasted every carrot cake in the world but I can say it's the best I've had🤔Great location especially on a summer's day. Good access although not great for bikes as it's a bit of a lose surface carpark, plenty of parking close by though. Nice ride out, will be back.
