Great spot for a jar and a bite, and highly convenient for cricket and football fans. On a non match day, parking nearby.

Firstly, this is an excellent bar with great service and quality food & drinks. Unfortunately I will not return and advise anybody who has reserved a table to have a back up plan in case they decide to cancel your booking. I had a table booked 2 hours before the kick-off of a big game at the City Ground only to receive a phone call to say I could only keep my reservation if we could turn up 2 hours earlier - 4 hours before KO!!! Lots of lame excuses to why but it is clearly down to blatant profiteering! Unfortunately my friends & I will be looking for another pre-match venue from now on. AVOID.

This is my local, staff are friendly, views of the trent river are great. Cowsy in winter and perfect for summer with a large outside area with a good view for sundowners.Thanks waterside Bar. See you again soon

We had lunch here today and it was wonderful. The spicy fish was excellent and beautifully presented and the breakfast roll with extra mushrooms was great as well. Very friendly service and a nice atmosphere too. First time and will definitely come back.

Great decor and range of seats since renovation. Lovely drinks at reasonable price. Corona on draught! Excellent location with live music. Rammed on match days.

Really wanted to come and try the new Waterside, but was left disappointed (Oct 2021). In the first instance, the acoustics are terrible in here. It's very difficult to sit down and have a conversation over dinner. Although we heard the pizzas were good, we chose fuller dishes like the brisket. Pretty poor to be honest. The meat wasn't cooked particularly well, and I'm guessing it's not cooked on the premises, rather reheated. I reckon it's probably great in the summer months though, sitting on the terrace enjoying the river and a pint. Just not for a nice dinner.....

Quality bar with fantastic outside area and the best selection of drinks on tap in West Bridgford. Food looks delicious but have never tried it unfortunately! Fab atmosphere on a Friday night, wouldn't go on match day though.

Staff were great, we came with our dog and without asking out came a water bowl. The beer is good with navigation beer on tap, try the hazy pale, great one. We had the pizza, fire and smoke option, a bit greasy (but it was pepperoni), but very nice, I would come back. Although it is a bit smarter than my usual haunts.

What a great outside terrace, over looking the river. Perfect for a sunny afternoon. The food was really good too. The best chicken burger I have had in a long time. Service via the app was very quick and all staff were really friendly and helpful. I accidentally left my phone and it was picked up by staff and returned to me swiftly. We will be back soon
