The Trent Bridge Inn in Rushcliffe

Wetherspoons may have some questionable policies but they certainly look after their properties. Bordering the world famous Trent Bridge Cricket Ground the TBI is clean, the staff are top notch and the prices are good.

The pictures posted looked lovely so thought we'd give it a go. The table was dirty to start with. Then when I went to order food and a drink, was left waiting while the young person serving chose to serve the men first. It took for one of the men to say I was waiting for some time. We chose gourmet burgers and soft drinks for £7.50. The food came quickly and hot. It was was delivered by a young man who just said two burgers and was off. No enjoy your meal or is there anything else you need. We had a handful of chips and a burnt burger. No gourmet burger. We would have complained about the wrong order but on looking at the receipt wasn't charged for the better burger. Its safe to say we won't be going back .

Great place to grab a drink and something to eat. Great service, clean place and very welcoming. It was a cold day and the TBI had a roaring fire. It was an impressive sight. Loved it.

Having visited this pub many times for a pre match pint before, yesterday our group of 4 men, all around 60 years of age, 2 being grandfather's, were refused entry by two goons on the door, as we were football fans.Fortunately the Riverside Bar & Kitchen were far more friendly, and along with many other Grimsby Town football fans, had a superb couple of hours, fine beers and excellent food.Won't be bothering with the Trent Bridge Inn again when we return for cricket in the summer.

Great bar with a lovely atmosphere and very nice reasonable food. There was a lovely open fire when we went in. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Went again and it was a lot busier this time. Staff were still very friendly and trying to make sure everyone has a good time.

Loved it! Deliberately picked a quiet time (mid afternoon) for a meal, and was not disappointed! Great service, with a smile, and great value. Good ambience, Wetherspoons at it's best.

Trent Bridge Inn is a typical JD Wetherspoom pub close to the cricket stadium in Nottingham. It offers the usual streamlined JDW menu (cheapest food around, but edible) and a familiar selection of cask ales. Competent staff, pleasant-enough décor. Definitely not one of the company's fleabags. ;)

Not a great experience for the second time.Food was good enough and love the bottled cider they do but, I didn't feel very welcome. Tables all cluttered on arrival so ended up on a massive table on my own.Ordered via the app, drink arrived without communication. Food arrived and on several occasions they checked on me, again no communication. Felt like being rushed.As soon as I finished my dinner my plate was taken away, again without any communication, not even a question if it was ok. So I shall not be coming back here...

It is what it is... a Spoons right by Trent Bridge Cricket ground. Which on match days, gets rammed! Overall - enjoyed. Some issues - Punk IPA barrel clearly needed changing but newbie lady behind Bar was adamant it didnt (it did!). The Card payment machine kept going down which was frustrating - so ordering via app but then some of their tables aren't displayed as table options! And when its packed inside... good luck! All said and done - decent though. Got a table. Relatively cheap pints of Punk IPA; nachos and halloumi fingers were good (without being great) One of the servers, Ronnie (?, or maybe Rennie?) - she was lovely and v.helpful. RECOMMEND as a Rendezvous point on Matchdays, or after the game

Pretty good standard spoons restaurant. Avoid the peppercorn sauce it's not the best. Staff service a highlight here, lovely people
