I went for the mixed grill. Unfortunately the chicken breast felt tough as though it had been boiled. Absolutely no colour to it. The sausages looked like school dinner sausages. Not great tbh. The 'medium' steak was also overdone. The rest was OK as was the other people's food I was with. Reasonably priced for drinks and food hence the 3rd star.

Great staff, very generous portions and lots of choice on the menu (including vegetarian options).

Food was really nice cooked to perfection and portion sizes are huge. Wanted a curry but green king never have this available so was abit gutted. Waited 20 mins so really good service. Only problem was being ignored at the bar when I wanted condiments I had to flag down a member of staff. Reasonable prices for quality of food.

We have just got home from a Christmas lunch and entertainment from the Wolds. The food was excellent - too much really - and Jamie, who provided the entertainment was first class! Thank you Wolds for a lovely afternoon.

Every visit there is like a trip down the memories lane to the school canteen times. During my last three visits with them they didn’t have mustard, they didn’t have barbecue sauce, they didn’t have vinegar. They’re just ridiculously badly stocked up on condiments and that’s the thing which makes your dining experience a bit flavourless

Not sure how difficult cooking a fish finger can be but the chef certainly got his fingers burnt tonight. If they hadn't forgot the melted cheese they might have managed to hide it. A Poor fish lost his finger for this

Very nice and friendly pub. Not had a bad visit here in over five years. Live the layout which has an over 18 section and another for families. Large enough to house two bars, seated area for food, large outdoor seating and a good sized carpark. As it's part of the Hungry Horse chain it offers discounts via the app (and cash back from certain banks).

Stopped off for a quick lunch and some games of pool on a Friday lunchtime with three colleagues. It wasn't very busy so bar service was prompt. The food came out quite spaced out considering we all ordered to the same table one after the other. I had the Steak on A Pie, very tasty and a generous portion.
