The restaurant is located on North Street East, Uppingham. We are situated around the corner from the Sycamore Harley-Davidson next to the BP garage, opposite the restaurant is a public car park. Style in the classical era of the emperors, we can cater for small or large parties of up to 80 people and the restaurant is fully air-conditioned."

This is 100% the very best chinese food i have ever had. I shared prawn sesame toast and salted chilli mini ribs as starters with my wife. The toast was fabulous but the ribs... wow! They were to die for! Amazing!For my main i had chicken schezuan and crispy shredded chilli beef and egg fried rice. The chicken schezuan was fantastic, the rice was wonderful but the shredded beef... i have never tasted this done so well. Any other chinese i have tried just pales compared to Choi's.The service was prompt, polite but in no way pushy. The bill was £44 for two of us which would be good anyway but for the quality of food we recieved was more than a bargain.I was so impressed i asked to meet the chef. I was taken thru to the kitchen and i thanked him and bowed with respect.Stunning! Go there... you won't regret it!

We really enjoyed our visit, the food is the best we've had in years, sizzling beef was excellent, everything tasted so fresh, vegetables were perfect, great service from I'm guessing the owner. Like a tardis inside, much bigger than you'd think. Highly recommended.

Worst takeaway I've ever had!The food tasted and looked like it had been cooked a few days before and then just reheated when we ordered. They said the order would only take 10 minutes to pick up, so I'm fairly certain that is what they did. We ordered chicken balls and crispy shredded beef and the batter was soft and horrible. The chicken was inedible - it was barely cooked and all chewy and anaemic. The rice smelled like washing up liquid.I'm writing this the day after eating here and my stomach does not feel right, even though the majority of the food ended up in the bin. We definitely won't be returning again and I would not recommend it. Very disappointed.

Have been eating here for years and the standard is always good. Never had a bad meal. Nice variety of dishes. Particularly like their thai green curry. Lovely interior that makes it a nice venue to dine in.
