"Brasserie, wine bar and coffee house. The Don Paddy’s experience is a combination of its innovative twist on brasserie food, its great selection of house and fine wines, its large range of continental lagers, its cask marque awarded real ales, its live music and coffee."

Lovely owners & staff. Very welcoming and polite.Food & drink fabulous. Rest rooms immaculate & clean. They have live music on and it's a bar area also.

Arrived but tables not wiped. Server asked customer after us if they wanted hot or cold milk - we just got what we were given. Cosy place and only a few cafe's in the area so I'm sure they'll always be busy throughout the year.

Had a meal here whilst staying at Nearby Hotel which also owns this restaurant. Four of us dined and all enjoyed the experience. I had an open steak sandwich and my partner fish and chips. Both were excellent. Had almost the same meal in the hotel the following night and it was awful!

We've been based in Uppingham for a few days and have visited Don Paddy's several times... From coffee & cake to pre dinner drinks, and from bar snacks to supper , they have everything covered. The staff were all excellent too. We saw a live guitarist @C J Hatt playing some cracking covers. Great place.

Would have walked out but for the cakes. Every table in the main bar was unwiped. Found 1 at the back with reserved for 17.30 so took it as the only clean one. The cake was superb. During my time no other tables were wiped, although leaving in the bar they had been. Does not give a good impression.

Decent Place, was impressed when I ordered a cognac and the manager asked if I wanted the glass heating up, not many other people ask. The art deco is really nice too. Will definitely be back in the future.

Stopped off in Upingham as we were passing through. Don Paddy's looked a nice inviting place to stop for a bite to eat, and we were not disappointed. The place has a nice friendly feel, and it's almost as if you were sat in a cosy restaurant in some faraway place. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and taken very good care of. The food and drinks were of a good standard with reasonable prices. Food arrived promptly, looked great, tasted delicious. Quite interesting to note that the place was well staffed when most businesses seem to run with minimum crew these days. Recommended and we will be making a return next time we are in the area.
