Gorgeous stone pub overlooking a chocolate box village green, and idyllic cottages ,thatched here and there.So peaceful.

Lovely pub in a stunning location. 4 of us had evening meals. Starter and main. Very tasty and good value. Staff were friendly and attentive. Oh ....and very good beer! 😁 Can't fault it.

Enormous garden with garden bar. Indoors also pretty. Located in the "Best kept village in Rutland". You'll like it

My fish and chips were great and location for outside dining is perfect. Only comment is that the staff waiting the table could do with some training as they knew nothing about the menu when we asked a few questions.

Despite the covid restrictions. We decided to try a quite pub out of the way and a lovely pub it is. Quality food , great choice of ales, great service. Had the venison was cooked to perfection, my wife had the risotto which also was very nice. Will be back again.

Warm welcome and wonderful service. New owners who have refurbished the pub into a fabulous place.Food was amazing and a wonderful choice.Dog friendly too which is great for us.Will return for sure.
