Nice to walk around and maybe stop off for a drink and food but the pricing in there is well beyond most working class families. I’m younger and check prices in store vs online and managed to save £150 on a BBQ they had straight away. The oldies won’t do this though and I guess that will keep it running a few more years.

Stumbled across this garden centre on way from Leicester to Melton. A magnificent centre. Although I am not a gardener, it appears to have everything you need. The fresh food market is delightful and a large range of goodies to purchase. Had breakfast and it was lovely. Well worth a visit.

Amazing place and well worth a visit, very well stocked. The staff are very helpful and I can recommend the bistro cafe for lunch. I know I will be visiting again. As a side how can you not like a place with gents loo like this.

Had a good wonder around. We needed it after our totally Awesome breakfast. All products were local and cooked to perfection. The sausages are some of the best I have ever tasted. The centre has a wide range of garden and homeware. And very good prices. Only drawback is the centre is on a hill and if like me, you have mobility problems it can be a bit of a slog. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Next door there is a wonderful farm shop with a wide range of products.... Also the centre has staff who will load your car for you which is a lovely touch...

I called in on Tuesday 26th April 2022, wanting to buy a certain BBQ, but they had sold out, much to my disappointment. I met Jack one of the shop floor managers who was absolutely brilliant. Jack introduced me to the Classic Joe 11, gave me a complete overview of this BBQ. They delivered it promptly the next day, the delivery team were also excellent, they assembled the BBQ within an hour and much to my delight, I was cooking an hour later.Thank you so much.P G.

Very nice high end garden centre come mini shopping centre! You could spend a day there and a fortune. The coffee shop was excellent and a really nice place to be. Cake was excellent with generous portions.I only took one star off because this place is on quite a significant slope, getting to the coffee shop for some will be a serious effort!Thoroughly recommended

Massive place, one of the best garden centres I've been to.Do note, dogs are NOT allowed inside.Toilets here.Disabled parking.2 eating places there, one smaller cafe and one restaurant.Massive selection of plants, outdoor stuff, indoor stuff, candles. Footwear, 2 clothes shops, a farm shop and a toy section. Basically there are shops within the inside.! And if you love home decor, you need to pay this one a visit, trust me !!Pet store too.Huge car park.Dog walking area one end of car park.If you need a garden centre this is the one for you.Something to look at for everyone.Plenty of staff so service is quick.Recommended.

Visited one hour before closing on a Sunday, it was still very busy. They had made a lot of effort decorating for Christmas. Plenty to look at, both for Christmas and generally. There is a restaurant and cafe. They have a well stocked farm shop selling quality goods.Enjoyed our visit.

Christmas time is the best time to visit Gates. Their collection of Christmas ornaments and decorations is second to none. Yes, they have much, much more than just garden stuff. Too much to mention, so I took pics. It really is a grand day out visiting here. Highly recommend coming here.
