Simply wonderful, Best food I've eaten in a while . We are already planning our next visit .

Wow. This whole experience was a one off. It is without doubt a 100% Michelin star restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing. The staff cared for you like nothing else on earth. The only slight downside for us is that it is rather stuffy in its way and with no background music in the restaurant you feel you have to whisper rather than speak at normal levels.

Lovely lunch at this Michelin star restaurant. Superb food and gracious attentive staff who made sure we never felt rushed despite endlessly chatting catching up with friends. Such a treat!

Although the food and service was great, I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here. We had booked a three night break, but as HH was £360/night, we decided we would stay there just the last night as a treat, and we stayed at the Kings Arms in Wing for the previous two nights at £60/night. I would say the standard of the room at Kings Arms was better, so I was very disappointed with Hambleton Hall. When we entered the room, there were three dead flies on the windowsill, a huge stain on the carpet, a large crack through the bathroom floor and across the bathroom ceiling. Neither the TV, phone nor radio worked. The double bed was two singles pushed together, not even a double mattress placed on top, so you sunk down the centre when in bed. We mentioned our grievances at the time and I have left it a week to see if we would get an apology from the manager, but we have heard nothing since we left. I would return for the food, but I wouldn't be staying over.

This was my first visit to Hambleton Hall, as well as my first Michelin star restaurant and it was faultless! The experience was incredible, great service, atmosphere and the food was amazing. Being vegan was not an issue at all, as you can see from the menu and photos. Definitely would recommend you visit

We had the pleasure to eat in the restaurant here just once in the past with family. This is a very high quality standard restaurant. Would recommend, but always review the prices online to get a sense of the costs.

An outstanding venue to have Sunday lunch. The service is impeccable.. The quality, taste and presentation is just perfect. Stunning views of Rutland Water. The wines are selected to complement the food. My vegetarian dishes werr on par with the meat dishes.

Great food, beautifully presented. Shame about the some of the staff's attitude and behaviour. Absolutely not a Michelin star standard when it comes to the notion of how to treat customers. Really surprised to experience indifference and rudeness at this level.

It was our first time staying and eating at Hambleton Hall (23/12/2021). This was a birthday gift for me. Entering the place was magical, you will get the feeling of being totally somewhere else! We checked in straight away at the reception. The lady who helped us was friendly, however, I wouldn't mind knowing a bit more about Hambleton Hall or something extra as we told her it was our very first time here. She just told us everything we needed to know (key, times, breakfast etc.) so nothing special. The room was lovely, we had a beautiful view of the lake. We both loved the television hiding in the "small sofa".In the evening we had some canapé and champagne which was lovely to have before the dinner. After 40 minutes we went to the dining room.. I won't spoil too much because it's great to have surprises! The food was amazing.. we had a 3 course menu and every plate was just special and tasty. The people working there and helping us was all great, especially Antony (or Antonell in Hungarian?) went the extra miles!! He was so helpful and even made it more difficult for us to choose the 3 course dinner as he explained everything so well and everything sounded delicious. Thank you Antonell! The only thing we missed in the room was some hotel slippers. And between 00:00 and 01:00 (we are late sleepers) we ran out of water so I called for the reception but no answer. We checken the book with the information but couldn't find any times they were closing.Everything and all.. we loved the experience at Hambleton Hall. We will definitely be back one day! Thank you everyone for making our stay so special.

Excellent experience with luxury authentic atmosphere Not only the service from being welcomed into the entrance, the food is phenomenal. This is the 1st time I've been somewhere like this and it's a wonderful experience I'd highly recommend it.
