Old Pheasant in Rutland

Excellent Sunday dinner, nice atmosphere, great staff. The only reason I gave 4 star was the lack of veg and had to ask for more. Other than that, would recommend!

Rooms very comfortable, great food pleasant staff. If I have a moan the shower in the rooms we used were woeful and Barley released the wet stuff, we occupied two rooms and both seamed to be water shy.

Lovely friendly & efficient staff. We shared a fish platter which was delicious but huge! I asked for a doggy bag & they happily packed up what we couldn't eat. Would definitely recommend.

The food and service was absolutely first class. The best Sunday Roast I've had! No dry/hard Yorkshire puddings here! Everything was great. Beautifully presented, prompt, and super polite staff. Decor is gorgeous. Cosy pub at the front and delightful restaurant to the rear. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

What a great place. Lovely, tasty, food and very friendly helpful staff. A relaxing and friendly environment. I would make this my first place to stop if we are in the area.

Delicious food, friendly staff and fantastic service in a cosy country pub. Right through from booking rooms and tables, to leaving the next day, we were made to feel really welcome. We'll definitely go back. Really enjoyed our evening and stay. Oh - and the rooms are lovely too!

First visit back for 3 years.I would highly recommend this place.The Pizza was outstanding! One portion big enough for two and quality fresh ingredients.The service was excellent, staff very polite and attentive.Lovely coffee and smooth Guinness.The building itself matches the food and service. Even had The Four Tops music playing I the background…. Quality!We shall return, but a lot sooner than 3 years.
