First visit for a few years. Still excellent service and fantastic food.

A little conflicted on this one. I eat at a fair few Indian restaurants and cook almost exclusively Indian food. We all have our favourite dishes and different restaurants have a different version. My tandoori king prawn jalfrezi wasn't bad. More oily than I'd like, mostly onion and only a few prawns for £10.50 plus rice. 7/10. My wife ordered a mix of starters which were mostly deep fried and a bit luke warm and overly greasy which made her a bit unwell. I tried the chicken pakora and it was dry chicken and very geasy batter. Shame as the staff were really nice. There were only 3 tables on a Monday night but service was rather slow, although they did apologise. Overall not terrible but could be so much better cooked and VFM.

Best Indian restaurant in Oakham by a curry mile! The service is friendly and the food is delicious.

7pm on a Saturday night and we hadn't booked. It was busy, and we were offered a choice between 2 tables. Although they were busy, the service was excellent, and quicker than expected. The menu is extensive but not too much, and it wasn't a problem that it is not a tandoori, the food and especially the nann bread was the best we've had in a long time. The price is so reasonable that we thought they'd left something off the bill!!! Our mistake, everything was without fault. They even had hot towels and after eights to finish. Our waiter was Shumon, and he was friendly and efficient. We honestly think this is the best Indian restaurant overall, ever! Do go. 👍

Ordered three different types of curry and they all looked the same. The pickle tray was like water. Very overpriced for bad food! The customer service is also shocking!

Had Indians in all parts of the country and this is by far the worst I've ever encountered.. arrogant waitress really bad food and service. Over priced garbage tbh.. never again..

Great customer service, Shumon is always happy to assist whether he’s working front of house or in the kitchen, always a warm greeting & a welcoming atmosphere. Curry’s are always top notch. Happy to be a regular!
