Not consistent enough quality. Too many chips Needs to have a small, regular and large selection.

Me and my partner had a flying visit here and although the food wasn’t all that great, the girl with the glasses really helped make the visit a lot better!

12.04.21 - Another disappointing meal from Silvers - Cold Rubbery chicken, wilted salad and mouldy pitta bread. This place used to be good but standards are falling.

We ordered fish and chips on 31 March 2021, We hadnt had fish and chips since before the lockdown and we were really looking forward to eating just that with curry sauce and mushy peas, What a dissapointment. COLD CHIPS, the large cod well if you could call it that was stale dry and rubbery and small with almost no batter on it at £9.60 certainly not good value. This is the third visit including before lockdown where the standard of the food was very poor in comparison to what it used to be 3 years ago. They really need to up their food standards before I consider visiting again as spending most of the night feeling ill is not what I needed.

This was the worst takeaway I have EVER had. The Donna meat was as dry as a fossil. The burgers had less meat on them than Kate Moss. Food came in “quirky” wrapping I.e paper rather than polystyrene, meaning my kebab went completely cold and hard! Yet the burger which would cool slower came in polystyrene? Failed attempt at being sustainable.

We are regulars here and travel 15 miles all round for this fish and chip shop. Unfortunately, tonight was a real disappointment. We ordered a large doner with cheesy chips and a veggie burger. The veggie burger tasted frozen still and the doner wasn't large at all compared to what we've ordered previously. The service was very slow where we waited almost 20 minutes for the food. Other than another man, we were the only customers in there. Hopefully next time will be better.
