The Fox Pub and Restaurant in Rutland

What a amazing food we had tonight, me and my wife had two beautiful plates of food, I had the pie and mash which I believe it was the meal that i have ever had, my wife had the ham and eggs which she loved and the size of food was mammoth and we did not have room for dessert.A the service was second to none very friendly and helpful, I just wish that I lived closer to this beautiful friendly pub, its better than anything in the Cotswolds where we live.Many thanks guys for a lovely evening.

Great Sunday lunch, booked the day before, very busy but good service and a very good lunch enjoyed by all. Extra cauliflower cheese an added bonus. Nice old pub in a pretty location. What's not to like,!

We have been in lockdown for the last two years or so. We were invited by friends to go out for a meal, and the Fox was suggested as the place we should go and eat. What a surprise, well distanced tables, superb friendly staff and a great meal. We will make a point of visiting again in the very near future.

Had a nice meal on valentines day, food was very nice, especially steak and peppercorn sauce. Service was quick and staff were nice :)

Really nice lunch there today. Staff very friendly and helpful. Place was very clean and bright. Wash rooms were clean and modern. We would certainly go again and recommend this place.

The 🦊 is lovely,the food was super & Amy and the rest of the team made us all feel very welcome. Not only all the above but dog friendly too. My brother's spaniel/Bassett hound puppy also greatly enjoyed his visit!!!!!

A lovely place to have food after a nice day at Rutland Water, the service is excellent, it's nice and bright and clean.

Had a lovely evening meal here recently. Easy to book over the phone. Great menu choice. Nice chilled country pub decor. Friendly staff. Decent prices. Food was very tasty!
