Cosy small and friendly. Popped in for drink on arrival in Seaton. Did not have food but looking forward to maybe having Sunday Lunch.

Outstanding food and service for our large group! We had a Sunday lunch menu which was an excellent selection. The beef was perfect, superb Yorkshires and a gorgeous selection of expertly cooked vegetables. All dishes were sampled and enjoyed by all: piping hot and well presented. Service was accommodating, efficient and smiley. The room itself was bright and welcoming. Fantastic ! Thanks everyone

My Sister and I had a first class lunch. It is imperative to book in advance. They don't mind if you go out for just lunch, or have been walking first. The staff are very good, the Chef is brilliant.I would certainly go again.

Called in for a beer and a large wine on a bike ride.Beer very pleasantThe supposedly “large” glass of white wine was the meanest I’ve ever seen!It was poured by eye rather than measured and i doubt would have made 125cc.I did ask “Is that a large wine?” And was told “yes”.We then travelled 2 miles home and repeated the order at another local establishment. It was measured and literally twice the size. When you are paying £7 odd for a glass of cheap white, for Gods sake don’t be mean on the measures.Wouldn’t return here, sorry.

We stayed for 3 nights with friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food in the restaurant was fabulous and the service there and in bar was excellent. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Just what you need for a long weekend. Thank you to all who made us feel so welcome.

Can’t wait to go back! Our experience was excellent; food, welcoming service, cosy atmosphere, and the pub/restaurant has been beautifully refurbished. Just thinking about their fillet of cod, wild mushroom risotto, or sticky toffee pudding makes us hungry! Real fire for the winter, comfy outdoor seating for warmer days (can’t wait to visit in the Spring), & onsite parking = potential for a perfect start or end to a country stroll - the historic Welland Viaduct (aka the Harringworth Viaduct or Seaton Viaduct) is nearby.

Fully rate this as a high end gastro pub. Didn't stay over so no idea what the rooms are like but the menu was varied, original and very well executed.
