Food was lovely shame about the staff. Really didn't enjoy overhearing a conversation about a staff members recent stomach upset!

Took the brewery tour.... What a brilliant, informative and entertaining event! Rory was a hoot - knowledgeable and funny in equal measures. The place is fascinating, the drinks scrummy and the food sooo good.Well worth the time and money - if beer (proper beer that is) is your thing, then a tour is a must.Thank you everyone at the Grainstore Brewery.

Pretty good place. The beer is made on-site, just upstairs. Mostly bitters, but really good nonetheless. The food was good, not great. I had fish and chips, the wife a cauliflower soup. The fish was a bit soggy. My wife really liked the soup. The staff were very nice. Cool atmosphere.

First of all, Grainstore offers a nice selection of real ales. We went for the tour, which is one of the best we've ever been on. Grainstore is a small and almost entirely manually run shop. We've never seen a brewery quite like this. After the tour we had a fantastic lunch and got to chat with the owner who was also our tour guide. Beer was great, food was great, service was great, and the tour was great. Well worth checking out before they move into larger and probably more automated quarters.

The food was great and portion sizes generous. You couldn't ask for more with the Ploughman's. A relaxed atmosphere with a pleasant mix of people and families. The rustic feel works well and it has a vibe as it is a working brewery. The staff are friendly and professional.

We visited as a family for the tour yesterday (17/10/21) as a birthday present for my real ale loving Dad!Rory was fantastic as a tour guide, he made it interesting and fun to even us females! The free samples were generous and we all tucked into the yummy Ploughmans 😍 and it was a nice touch to let us take the last free pint home in a bottle, especially for the nominated drivers!

Great food, great service. Certificates of excellence plaster the walls, deservedly so.
