Great Sunday lunch. Friendly staff lovely setting. Although there wasn't a childmenu they made whatever we wanted which was a hit.

Fantastic quality food in a lovely village setting, but let down by inexperienced staff that kept us waiting far too long to order our meals and were not too knowledgeable on the range of drinks available. No real ales available at time of visiting as stated on there Web page.

Superb Indian food and excellent service from all staff (they actually went out of their way to make our visit exceptional) thank you!

Had lunch here today and was very pleased with the food and the presentation of it. Will certainly call in again if we are in the area.

Just been to this amazing pub for a meal with my husband whilst on a short break from Norfolk. Food was superb and the decor fabulous. Staff very attentive. We had a great evening so thank you. Well worth a visit.

Enjoyed our stay at The Marquess.Set in a lovely village Lyddington. Room was clean and spacious. Comfortable bed, good shower etc. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Due to restrictions the menu was trimmed back. What we were served we enjoyed. Will go back.

Just had a 2 night stay at the Marquess of Exeter, would have given 5☆ but our room no 8 badly let the rating down, not the cleanest of rooms, dirty glasses, TV didn't work & no TV remote, shower head needs replacing & extractor fan in bathroom not working so the bathroom & the bedroom was filled with steam & Walls are very thin !But the saving grace was Brandon the young assistant manager who found us another TV & was extremely helpful, Toby the barman was also very pleasant & nothing was too much trouble for him.The food was very nice both our evening meal & breakfast was delicious, so thank you to Sam the cook & all the staff.
