Love this pub and it's what I call a proper pub it doesn't serve food but that's ok by me and its a local.pub for local people who just want to go in and have a few beers and talk to the other customers whom they already no or don't no its a warm friendly place where everyone is treated with a warm and friendly hello the atmosphere is layed back and the landlady is brilliant and it's what u see is what you get it's not false or put on and that's the sort of pub that I like so I will definitely going back very soon

Friendly family pub, no frills, good beers at good prices

Nice bar staff. For me that is probably one of the more important things about a pub. They have an event room, and I was told they have live music every Saturday. its posted on their Facebook page who it is going to be every week. Not run down, but not immaculate. Just right for my liking. Don't know if they do food, I didn't ask.

Was a lovely homely pub, fantastic prices, I would have give it 5 but it presently doesn't do food. The landlady however is lovely and the beer is 1st class

A clean and reasonable pub. Staff are pleasant. A good selection of drinks snacks and hot food available. There is some parking with easy access for wheelchair users.

Came in on way back from a walk from Rutland, dog friendly which was fab!Service was impeccable, staff were very friendly and helpful. We had 2 Sunday dinners and they were delicious! Especially the colli cheese - fiancé said it’s some of the best he’s ever had!Would come back and would definitely recommend!

Just moved to the village and my wife and I had the misfortune to stumble across this pub. The place is awful its full of youngsters taking drugs. Everywhere you go, in the toilets in the car park nowhere is safe. The bar staff are in on it too. The landlord is rude and obnoxious he is to busy chatting up anything that moves to even notice whats going on or just doesn't care. This is a real shame it could be so much more

A warm and welcoming reception on a very wet Bank Holiday. We were staying at the nearby campsite for the Easter weekend and retreated to the warmth of the Noel during the down pours. The food was excellent, plentiful and a great price. The men agreed the Guiness was Good and the schnauzer was happy with the biscuits. A great little find, we’d definitely go back.
