Proper pub. Didn't manage to eat - fully booked over Jubilee weekend. Live band in garden, not sure if that's the normal or whether it was a Jubilee thing. Fantastic cider in draught.

Great food, great place, nice staff, nice atmosphere, visited 27.05.22 at 5.30 in an effort to beat any Friday night rush, I had the mixed grill, loved it (Recommended), the wife had a Tiger Prawn sizzle, and equally enjoyed it, great range of drinks too (Lemon Gin with elderberry tonic the wife loved it), the only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is that every time i wanted serving, or more drinks, or to pay , i had to wait at the bar to get someones attention!? Yet plenty of staff on shift (3 seen behind the bar that evening)

Two sides to this visit. The normal food was apparently lovely and good sized portions but the gluten free options were terrible. Two dishes with ham; ham and eggs, ham salad, and a Jambalaya. I didn't want ham so went for the rice. £13 for two spoons of rice and a tiny side salad. Coeliac is not a choice but an immune deficiency disease, I paid over £50 to walk away hungry.

Food 4/10Beer 8/10Toilets 7/10Service 8/10Went for food and drinks. Beer was lively, fresh from the tap, food not so much. Served a skyscraper of a burger with a Victoria sponge as a bun, overly sweet and cake like. Wouldn’t have mind if it was in the dessert menu.Sizzler plate was terrible, frozen chicken and unappetising. Lewis Coleman

Nice country pub. Good selection of food, well priced, nicely cooked, well served. Couple of pints of local beer, white witch, also very nice. My only slight criticism would be that it seemed slightly under seasoned. Better that than over seasoned though.

We had a Sunday lunch at the Plough at Greetham after hearing some good reports from friends. Lunches are very generous portions, well cooked and reasonable. The staff were great checked on us from time to time to make sure we had enough gravy, sauces and drinks. Definately worth a visit.

Hi Hayley and team at the Plough. Thank you very much for taking my business cards and for introducing me to a charming new customer. I look forward to hearing about the next Trafalgar night programme! Best wishes from Taxi Bob

What a gem of a place. Staying away in caravan with 7 month old puppy and wanted to test eating out with pup in tow. She was made very welcome and we had Sunday Roast in the restaurant. Lovely, tasty food. Fantastic friendly staff and dogs everywhere. Nothing too much trouble. Looking forward to another meal on Tuesday when hopefully pup will be just as settled. Makes us much more confident when travelling throughout the year when she has had the chance to get used to it in a genuinely dog friendly place. Dogs more than welcome! 🙂🙂🙂

Had a lovely meal, staff and locals very friendly. They do live music nights and were all done up and ready for Halloween 🎃

Fabulous meal. Beautifully presented. Plates warmed. Tasted like home cooking. Covid procedures excellent. To have your temperature taken was an added feeling of being safe
