What a truly wonderful meal (as always). Thank you for looking after us so well this evening and for the absolutely lush food - Carol is genius in the kitchen. Scott and the lovely front of house staff are always so attentive, helpful with menu choices and create a superb atmosphere. If we could give more than 5 stars we would.

Scott and Carol run an exceptional restaurant/pub. The food is always superb, the staff extremely welcoming and they really look out for their local patrons. I would urge anyone living in or passing through the area to visit - you won't be disappointed.

I took my parents for their anniversary and each of their birthdays last year, and every time we went it was amazing. The food was great. The staff were very nice and friendly. The menu always varied. Reasonably priced and excellent quality food. Definitely recommend and will be back!

Talking on behalf of your guests - we've heard extremely good reviews about this pub. Only a drive away from Cottesmore too for any future guests should they wish a good quality pub meal!

Firstly, as a visually impaired customer I would like to thank the staff for being so helpful. They were also very courteous and knowledgeable about the food and drinks available. The menu was lovely and clear. So many times menus are written in a posh font on coloured paper that even with a magnifying glass I struggle to read. The food and service was excellent and we had a very enjoyable evening. Thank you!

The food is delicious and the price is so reasonable. We enjoyed every bit. Really recommend this place to everyone. You will love it. The place is dog friendly as well. The staff is very friendly and aware of all ingredients. Please visit such places and encourage such type of restaurants.

Travelling from London to Yorkshire, I asked Google for places to eat along A1 this is what it brought up. Fantastic staff and the food first class, will definitely be stopping here again, back on the road after a beautiful meal.
