Lovely café, lovely staff, and excellent cheese scones !

Lovely cafe, friendly staff, enjoyable.

Poor compared to our pre covid experience. Premium prices, below average quality. One tiny cheese scone, dry and salty. One baked potato, soggy and overcooked without a crispy skin. Cheese and beans, £8.00. Nice Garden Centre tho and the drinks were good!

This place is quite a gem! We had a range of dishes for lunch at the cafe yesterday, before Christmas present hunting in the shop. If our sample was representative, this is an excellent menu. We enjoyed jacket potatoes (big spuds, well cooked, fresh salad served on the side, good range of fillers), ham sandwiches with mustard (crisps and salad on the side) and a Welsh rarebit - all excellent. Great coffee and smoothies. Thoroughly recommended!

Really friendly and accommodating staff (they even made time and space for a group of cyclists who booked ahead, arrived an hour early, and caused a bit of disruption without getting upset or letting it mess up their customer service)Nice selection of food, clear allergies list and helpful to adjust choices for dietary needs.Would recommend if visiting the nursery which also looked very good.

Brilliant cafe. Discovered by accident as a well known pub couldn't accommodate us. What a result!! Helpful staff & lovely food. What more can you ask for. And covid precautions still in place (unlike said pub). Wish we were local

I visited here today- for the record, I'm Indian. The restaurant appeared to be busy. A lovely, kind lady offered her seat up because she had finished at the restaurant. We asked a member of staff if this would be okay as we walked over to the outdoor table and she said that it was already booked up and that there was a long waiting list that would around 30 minutes to clear. This waitress was extremely rude and came across as very cold. She had a really bad vibe about her. Baring in mind- we were the only people of colour in this restaurant/garden centre. We then said that this was okay and went out to the car park. I called this restaurant and then asked if they had a table for two- the lady that picked up the phone said that a group had just left (presumably the lady that offered up her table to us)- but that tables are not bookable and are served on a first come, first serve basis. So the explanation that the other waitress gave was absolute rubbish. Now for me, I felt like this was just extremely racist... I was left upset and in tears at how she had made me feel so unwelcome. The lady that had been rude was young, female and was working at around 2pm. I hope she has a long and hard look at her disgusting behaviour. Kindness and a good heart will cost you nothing. I hope she learns this lesson.

Lovely brekfast with my mum this morning at Rutland Water Garden center cafe. Although it was busy we were found a table and quickly supplied with drinks while we waited for our food . The food arrived promptly was nicely presented, tasted delicious and was hot . Definitely worth a further visit to try out lunches and cakes !

Stopped in for lunch and was not dissapointed, I had soup of the day and a sandwich was tasty and well filled. My wife had goats cheese and beetroot salad which looked very nice and the kids mac and cheese. Everything was lovely and the staff were friendly and very nice. If we're ever over that way again we'll definitely revisit.

Nice little cafe/restaurant tucked away inside a garden centre. Pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff and good range of different foods and drinks.
