Great place to go for Sunday carvery if you are in the area, the staff were most welcoming and extremely friendly and helpful, the food was really nice, plates were warm which is good, after our lunch we took had coffees in the garden which was beautiful, lovely couple of hours spent here. Would definitely go back if in area again, thanks all.

Lovely pub, good food, great service. Outside space is beautifully kept and even a small climbing frame and slide for little ones.

Lovely wee pub. Recommended to us by family. Excellent service and yummy carvery. Short of a few trimmings, but nonetheless, delicious. Would visit again.

Beautiful pub, amazing gluten free menu (no having to go through the main menu as they have a completely separate GF one), food was fabulous! Atmosphere was cosy and the staff were super friendly! Thanks for a lush visit 😁

Really good country pub; we're fortunate that it's our local. Really tasty food plus they'll usually have a guest beer on which is always well-received. Fires on in late Autumn which makes it a cosy place to be after a walk through the countryside.

Spent 3 nights here and had an evening meal. Good standard pub food but food highlight was the excellent breakfasts. Yolanda and Chris are friendly and welcoming. The only issue was low ceilings if you're over 6 foot but it's an old building so this is to be expected. There is a large car park and it's a pretty village. I would definitely return.

Stayed overnight in a lovely cosy room. Everything was just perfect, had everything I needed and was able to easily access the WiFi. Comfy bed and fluffy towels, friendly owners and a delicious breakfast the next morning. Thank you so much Yolanda and Chris!

We had a beautiful meal here, actually on a first date with a very lovely lady. The whole team made us feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door as we hadn't booked but found us a lovely spot and were very attentive but not intrusive. The food was superb and we had a really lovely evening so thank you for squeezing us in if the owners read this.

Great pub. Dog friendly. Inside and out. Lush garden.Stopped serving food at 2pm on the day we visited. Arrived just after 2pmThe chef accommodated us though. Rustled us up some sandwiches.Friendly place. Well looked after. The garden is awesome.The village is fabulous too. Definitely check out the windmill. The fella who used to work at the mill was onsite when we went there. Great bloke. You’re allowed in the mill. Go up the stairs. To the top. Not safe for dogs though. It’s donations based.But no pressure at all.You have to try this place.
