50's American Diner in South Derbyshire

Visited on Sunday for our Annual Mothers day visit and as always, we had a lovely time. Service is always 100% and the food is amazing. Burger was so fresh and the portion sizes are huge! The chefs worked so well together to ensure efficient service and the waiting staff were on the ball and attentive. We have been coming to this diner for 6 years now and I cannot recommend it enough. The Milkshakes are delicious too! Also, really pleased that the menu has been updated with a great choice of burgers again! Thank you and we will see you soon!

Very slow costumer service. Waited over 15 min just to for someone to take order. Place wasn't even at full capacity. Drinks were not swerved until I finished food. They didn't bring all the drinks but tried to charge me for the drinks that they didn't bring. Towards the end, there were only two tables occupied but still took almost 15 min to get a cup of coffee. No one checked if the food was good or if we wanted to order something else or ask for the drinks that have never arrived.On a positive: Waitress were very friendly just not effective. Food very nice and tasty.

So, we go here very regularly. Our first ever visit was post lockdown so we never knew the ore lockdown menu. However since lockdown there have been a number of menu changes and the staff have been very receptive to customer suggestionsThe diner is amazing with plenty of history and memorabilia dotted around, including bullet dents from the 59's.The staff are fantastic and always willing to add to your experience, the portions are large, American style and I blame them for me putting a lot of weight on 😂🤤Always happy to go back.

Nice place to go! It's not another fish and chips restaurant or another kebab bar typical in this times. Very friendly staff, very tasty burgers, huge portions, even kids meals are so big. Defo recommend and defo coming back here soon.

Been here over the years but this time was the best.. Food was amazing, burger was absolutely delicious and way better than TGIs, 5 guys, Gourmet burger! New chef apparently... Also they've put up more 50s memorabilia giving it even more of an authentic feel! Kids loved it too as puddings and milkshakes are awesome Can't wait to go back 🍔💙

Fabulous evening. Food was good BUT OMG the milkshakes were just the best ever. Lovely atmosphere, the Jukebox was a big hit. Definitely will visit again

What a great little American diner. Food was fantastic, loved the fries. Staff friendly. The jukebox was a great touch and my partner went and picked three songs that everyone sang along to which we thought was brilliant. Great atmosphere, my bubblegum milkshake was absolutely delicious. Awesome! The diner is set back from the main road but hard to miss due to its eye-catching lights, especially at night time! The staff are incredibly attentive, one even made a bespoke milkshake at request of my partner (who is currently going through the array of tasty milkshakes...). The girls look absolutely fab in their 50's rockabilly style dresses! They have loads of genuine American memorabilia scattered around, making you feel like you've gone back in time as well as a free to use jukebox with some classics on. The chef is a great guy; super friendly and you can see (and taste!) how passionate he is about cooking - often including specials of the day. The meat is very fresh and locally sourced, and vegetarian options are available also. There are toilets in the diner and on site parking. Would DEFINITELY recommend - 10/10!!!
