I have lived in Derby for about 4 years now and I haven't found a bar/restaurant that beats Cherry Tree Farm in it's taste, serving size and price. The food is always fresh, service prompt and staff friendly and welcoming. It tends to be quite busy so I recommend booking a table. And do try their Cake-Away.

Typical edge of town place. Great for families and kids. Good value food that's well served and wife really loved the carvery. Friendy helpful staff. Chef Ramsey ain't but two meals and two drinks for £25 is what its about. Job well done. Oh! Did I say the Abbot ale was really good?

Stayed in ibis hotel literally over the road. All uou can est breakfast £6.99, unlimited tea coffee additional £1.99, perhaps could just be included as only unwrapped tea bags with no specialist teas. Lovely breakfast. Toasters are a bit slow and maybe need tongs to pick bread up instead of everyone touching the bread. On the whole good start to the day

Met with friends I hadn't seen for a few months and we decided to visit Cherry Tree Farm. Had a lovely meal, the vegan root vegetable pie. Only issue was I waited a while for it as it had been put aside on the carvery counter but I wasn't told I had to collect it from there. Fraser, one of the waiters sorted it and got me extra parsnips and sprouts from the carvery. Big thanks to him and another waitress ( didn't get her name) for their great customer service. Would have liked more choice for vegan desserts but the chocolate and coconut torte was delicious. Lovely place with a great atmosphere. Would definitely go there again when I'm in the area.

First time at the cherry tree since lockdown, booked for 5 people, which included my 2 grandsons, we all had a carvery and really enjoyed it, food lovely and hot, lots of choice for meat and veg. Restaurant was very busy, but well worth the wait, all staff were really nice and helpful, couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. Grandsons left with 2 HUGE portions of red velvet cake so they were really happy!! Thank you to all staff for their hard work and friendly attitude, see you again soon. Blessings

Great spot for breakfast, we found it by chance while on the road early and really enjoyed our tasty buffet breakfast... And my daughters got the ice cream and chocolate syrup pancakes which were OK, bit tough but tasty. Great value too for 4 people, 20 quid!

Very disappointed in how we was treated at cherry tree Willington! Rang up at 6:00pm and asked weather we needed to book a table tonight for a carvery and the man we spoke to on the phone said no we are really quiet tonight so no need to book we will have many tables free. However, when we turned up the lady that greeted us said there are no tables left and her manager said to not seat anyone else. This girl was very rude, unpleasant and wasn’t apologetic or helpful at all! This girl was not willing to help us or even speak to her manager to see if there was any tables free there was many options this girl could have suggested to us but she just was just rude. Definitely lost a customer!

We arrived as breakfast was finishing. So at 11am we ordered the all day breakfast off the menu. When we got the food it all the food off the help yourself menu. Nothing fresh at all. The bacon was not edible and the toast was like a brick. Possibly the worst breakfast I have ever had in my life. Your chef should be ashamed to send them out like that. You then took £30 off us for the meal. Shame on you. A utter disgrace

Busy busy busy, quite a long wait to be seated, and at the bar, and for the carvery. Food was nice, generous portions of meat. Some staff seemed overwrought, others friendly enough. They do need more staff on & we did notice adverts for vacancies, so hopefully things will be easier for future diners.

Still going strong, great Sunday carvery.... We booked in advance by 2 hours... Busy but not rammed... Reasonable waiting times... Worst thing was the wait times to order and pay at the bar.... Lots of staff stood chatting whilst customers were obviously waiting.... Staff need to definitely be more attentive.
