Fantastic fish and chips. Batter is crisp and nice fresh fish 🐟.

Will not go there again slow service awfull chips and sausage and curry sauce wasn't that great either.🤮🤮

This is the best "chippy" for miles. They are worth traveling to, or ordering from. Great service, great food in a clean safe environment. Would rate higher than 5 stars if I could.

Embarrassment of a chip shop. Stood in a queue of 2 for nearly 10 minutes. At no point did anyone behind counter even acknowledge. Guy behind the counter flapping at his iPad orders. A few other people stood around complaining due to long wait etc. Didn’t even have any chips ready as that’s what one person was waiting for. Needs to decide whether they are a walk in or an online order point as the current system clearly doesn’t work. I walked out.

food was very good. Only the owner was good but dissapointed they dont deliver

Disappointed big time. First time we have been here. Wish I'd have taken pictures. We ordered two portions of chips. One was dark brown, looked like they'd been cooked in the filthiest oil and been sat lying around and the other was pale with no colour and all stuck together. The minifish was like eating baby food. You bit in and it becomes mush, just like the battered sausage, just mush, no skin on it. Really Disappointed and most went in the bin. One positive... we were served straight away, but that's because the shop was empty at 7pm on a Friday night, should have known what we were in for.

Food is alright, wasn't the best fish & chips to be honest, was very greasy and the batter was overcooked. Some of the chips were not cooked properly as were still raw in the middle.

1st time I'd visited in six months or more. Really Suprised, great presentation (boxed), hot tasty freshly cooked, non greasy, will definitely return as its on my doorstep.

Called this evening, was waiting to be served , finally got served and asked for 2 medium chips open, he looked and there wasnt enough for us, instead of waiting the girl that worked there tipped chips out of a carton that was gonna be for a delivery back into the pan to give to us, they wasnt nice to taste either, will not be returning to this chippy, couldn't eat them 🤢

Ordered 2 x fish meals from special menu and received 2 x generous portions of chips and 2 decent sized fish....you have the choice of side order of peas, gravy etc. A small delivery charge (which would cost you more in petrol) to collect yourself. Was delivered swiftly around 20mins of placing order. Which is excellent in my book.Couldn't fault the food or service...would definitely use again. People who leave feedback on the crispiness of batter need to understand that a certain amount of crispness will be naturally lost unless coming straight from fryer onto plate.
