Joe's in South Derbyshire

When this place first opened it was wonderful probably one of the best pizza places in the area proper pizza with quality Ingredients made by the old owner who knew how to make quality food. However the last few times I've ordered from here since the new management the food has been inedible and revolting made with disgusting cheap Ingredients by people who don't know how to make pizza. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and the cheese consisted of orange greasy mush and and the pepperoni were like spam. The chicken strips were something vaguely resembling chicken coated in slime and then bread crumbs completely different to how they used to before the new owners. Would not recommend this food to a dying dog

Really disappointed with our food tonight almost an hour and a half late chips hard in the middle cold and soggy at the ends burgers we were not very impressed with and my husband very disappointed in the chicken tikka pitta .This is normally the best burgers and chips we have ever had but we won't be ordering from here again .

ORDER NEVER ARRIVED!!!! Will not be ordering again unhelpful and rude staff when called said my house number was not a real house number and claimed the order was complete meaning the money went to them even though my order never turned up.Would not offer any compensation at all for the Inconvenience.

The meat was slimey and undercooked, the chicken on my kebab was like chewing gum, the donner meat wasn't much better. I was not impressed at all, it was completely inedible. I again agree with other reviews the nan bread was damp and doughy, im not entirely sure if it was from the chicken on top but i had to throw the whole thing in the bin. The customer service on your replies to previous reviews is also absolutely appalling, there's a complete lack of accountability.

My Mrs ordered 3 kebabs last night and I've genuinely never been so disappointed/disgusted with take away food. It was inedable the chicken was slimey and undercooked and the doner meat wasn't much better and the naan bread was damp, colourless and almost raw dough. If no stars was an option that would have been more accurate

Ordered via Just Eat. Told delivery was 1.5hours which is fine, I understand places like this can get busy. They waited the full 1.5hours then cancelled the order. Terrible service.

Friendly driver although not impressed with size of kebab. Large portion for £5.50.

Not going to lie first time we orderednfrom here and the food did taste nice, and was on point however we found not 1 but 3 hairs in our pizza box and when we called to complain he said I'm sorry what else can we do, didn't even offer a replacement or a refund or a discount off next order.Disappointed as the food was very nice but the hairs were off putting

Almost 2 hrs late cold food. Selected extras for our pizzas went on one pizza, soggy fries. Absolutely shocking quality. Will not be ordering from here again!!

Ordered through uber eats and wasn't dissapointed. Food was early which is a bonus. The food was absolutely gorgeous. I gave 4 stars purely cos the bun was a little soggy as they wernt grilled but nothing major in the grand scheme of things. Proper enjoyed it and would deffo order again
