New Swad in South Derbyshire

Not long discovered this place! Won't ever go to any other Bangladeshi or Indian takeaways in the area. They really are the best. We order and pick up 15 mins later. Accommodating with my fussiness also :)

Really really good food, you can tell the chefs are taking pride in the dishes, waiters and everyone all working hard to make sure you have a nice time, we all will be back soon, many thanks

Really good service and the place was really busy with a good atmosphere. Food was good but was a little under spiced for me.

After moving into this area, I always go to Burton for Indian food but found this restaurant recently which is nearby and wanted to give it a try. The food was average and nothing taste like proper Indian/Bangladesh Dish and its quite expensive compared to restaurants/take-aways in Burton. In the name of customer service they seem to over react which makes it bit awkward.

Terrible service - asked where I could find a menu, they said they don’t have one online. Then after 1 HOUR AND 45 MINUTES we finally got our food which wasn’t surprisingly cold. Even if it was warm was pretty tasteless. When we called to follow up our food after an hour and 10 minutes the guy was also extremely rude talking over me when all I was asking is where it was.

This was the second time as a family we have been to the New Swad for Christmas lunch and once again it was absolutely fantastic, real value for money and no washing up!! Great food and the service was excellent. Well done guys and for all you curry lovers I can highly recommend this place all year round.

What an absolute gem of a place! I had the veggie samosas followed by matar paneer, chana masala and aloo gobi. Each was delicious but the matar pannier was exceptional

After coming to this fantastic restaurant for a few years I feel very disappointed tonight. The bill seemed so much more than normal. So much so that I queried it. A Cobra is now £5.25! Plus other increases. Sorry guys, I love your food, but sorry I will look elsewhere as this is ridiculous.

Amazing curry delivered tonight.. not had 1 from here for a while. Cant remember why, but will definitely be ordering again. Food was fresh hot and very tasty. Well done....

What a great place to eat , the food was amazing . My wife is not a big lover of this kind of food but she loved it . The " Special biryani " to die for
