Delicious breakfast! And staff are very friendly and nice! Good and comfortable tables to enjoy with family, friends or yourself.

Mothers day meal but unfortunately half of the menu was not available as we were eating late afternoon around 5.30ish . Would have thought they would anticipate an above average patronage but seems not . Spoke to the manager who was very apologetic and knocked some off the final bill. Staff were friendly and what we ate was pretty good shame it wasn't the first choice for most .Would try it again sometime but eat earlier to avoid disappointment.

Great service. Not one thing wrong, which is highly unusual for a pub restaurant these days.The staff were attentive and available. The food was amazing, and the selection on the menus was fantastic. Only small, minor thing was about portion sizes ... they could be slightly bigger and then this would have been a 5 star review.Keep it up guys ... 🙂

Great service and lunch menu was not only very good value but also well cooked and attractively presented. A busy Friday lunchtime but a well organised team of staff. One of our party had the gluten free menu which also provided a good selection of food. An enjoyable lunch and we will definitely be going back.

A nice but at times busy pub with typical pub style menu. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Food was very good with reasonable portion sizes.The pub is an ideal stop off point for Alton Towers and the Derbyshire Peak District. The only reason I have given it 4* is due to the waiting time for food as we had very hungry kids who had to wait quite a long time to be fed. I believe this was due to a staff shortage which I am sure will be addressed. Apart from that worth a visit.

Lovely place with friendly welcoming staff. We took my parents for a post Christmas treat and it was really good. Good lunch menu, nice sized portions for the olds. Stick to the main menu if you have a big appetite.

Just had a lovely pre Christmas meal with 9 members of our family. The food was very nice, the staff as always very helpful making our evening very enjoyable. The table was decorated with crackers and red napkins making it very festive. In these difficult times you made our evening very pleasant and we want to say a big thank you.

My family and I love this place, we had a party of seven yesterday afternoon, we were very well catered for and the food was amazing.Could you please pass our comments onto the girl who served us, she had bright pink/purpley hair in plaits (I didn't manage to catch her name) but her service was excellent. Very friendly and well mannered, she was just excellent, brilliant personality, she is a credit to your pub.Thanks again, I'm sure we'll be back. 🙂

Just lovely 😍 great quality tasty food and amazing portions . Lovely seating outside with shaded booths or seats in the sun.Nice indoor areas with covid rules all set in place where needed. Friendly staff .Thank you for a lovely dinning experience.I recommend and will go again for sure. :)Ps the dripping gravy....to die for !! :)
