Lovely place to get breakfast or brunch. Nice outdoor area for younger children.

Great place with great coffee. Really enjoyed a nice breakfast cob and slice of cake.very nice modern setting with plenty of space and little play area outside for the kids. Staff are warm , friendly and polite and really make you feel welcome. If you like a slither of cake be warned these are great cakes but you got to be quick , they are popular. For a place in its infancy they have made an amazing start and living close I am eager to see this great little spot grow from strength to strength. Highly recommend this place for sure.

Interesting building, liked the bottle kiln, good and informative exhibitions and the video was a good watch, lovely gift shop and friendly service in the cafe, well worth a visit

An interesting museum built around a huge kiln, with information on the once important industries in the area. There is a nice cafe with a selection of cakes and savoury snacks with a garden and play area outside. A free car park is just a short distance away.

As usual , fantastic service by Caroline and Al in the cafe. Our Afternoon tea was amazing with lots of choice and fresh product. Plenty of tea too! My daughter’s toasty was full of cheese and ham and her slice of cake was just delicious!

Warm welcome to this interesting free museum that needs support. Visited on a Sunday afternoon (no opening times displayed) only to find that the cafe had closed an hour early without notice. Worth checking if intending to visit

A lovely family run cafe. Great location in the heart of Swadlincote with a Play area for children. Food was great and reasonably priced, Couldn’t recommend this cafe enough!

I would highly recommend Sweet Caroline @ Sharpes Pottery Muesem.....the cafe is brilliant, great service at great prices! Me and my partner recently had an afternoon tea and it was fantastic , nothing was too much trouble and Caroline & Al was happy to keep topping us up and looked after us all afternoon

Just been to sharpes cafeDiscusting.Rip off.£2+ for coffee . Packets of nescafe. You can get a box full for 1 or 2 pounds . Said not got a coffee machine yet .Toasty wafer thin bread. hardly any cheese you had to look for it.My friend complained to him.

A small museum but full of interesting history about the pottery industry of the area. Also a small exhibition about the National Forest with many suggested walking leaflets. An excellent cafe is available serving homemade cakes, soups and snacks. Spent about 2 hours.
