Shoulder of Mutton in South Derbyshire

Did not stay there overnight just called in for a meal which was very nice well cooked and served Same with the sweat excellent.

Plenty of food, well priced, tasty. This is not the first time we have been and want be the last. Staff nice and helpful.

You really can’t beat a warm and cosy pub with delicious home cook food and a vast selection of drinks - The Shoulder definitely has it all.We had three courses of classic pub grub and (almost) finished it all. All this came at such great value and on top of this the staff were wonderful and welcoming.Can’t recommend enough!

We visited for a two night stay and found that this was the ideal place for a short break. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Thebreakfasts were tasty, well prepared and satisfying. Our evening meals were also very good. The reception we received from the owners, the staff and the locals made us look forward to visiting the pub again.Thanks to Neil , Spooner and Kirsty for making our visit so pleasant.Lyn and John

Love this pub/restaurant the staff are great and always so friendly. Lovely outdoor area in the summer. Fantastic new restaurant area in the old bar, lovely relaxing decor.10 of us visited on a Wednesday evening all having different meals..... all of which were freshly cooked and prepared to the usual high Standard. I can't recommend this pub highly enough.
