Smisby Arms in South Derbyshire

Went there today for Sunday lunch & it was delicious, really good sized portions & the lamb was lovely & plenty of it! Excellent value for money! The staff were great, very friendly! Definitely recommend & will be going again!

First visit, will not be the last. Good choice on menu. We were a group of 7 all had something different. Everyone's meal arrived same time. Every meal was really nice, freshly cooked. Really good size portions. Sadly no room for a dessert.

Stopped by for a little lunch and a drink. Excellent service. They couldn't have been more accommodating. Nice food and good coffee too.

We were invited to go there with two Friends and what can I say other than we loved it. Small traditional old type of pub with a varied Menu and a Specials Board. The food was extremely tasty and well presented by lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Will certainly be going again.

Ran down on a cold, foggy night and was met with a cosy comfortable dining area. The food was outstanding. Didn't have to wait long for it to arrive and to top it off real friendly and welcoming staff.Would definitely go back.

I have lived in the area most of my life and didn't know this pub existed. This is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is amazing, service is perfect, the food is home cooked and incredible. And to top it off, it's all incredibly priced too.I would highly recommend you come here if you like good quality, value home cooked food in a nice village pub setting.

Our first visit to the Smisby Arms, had lunch with friends and our two dogs. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with a lovely warm welcome. There is a good choice of dishes on the menu and also several specials too. The food was good and reasonably priced. A great dog friendly pub and will definitely be visiting again. Would highly recommend.
