Spice Garden in South Derbyshire

Lemon rice is fab- the madras sauce is awful, dry chicken breast - I had to add cream to it as it was waaaaay too spicy- can we have chicken thighs in curry in this town? C’mon! Yet again another disappointing curry in Swadlincote.

Moved here from Birmingham and had given up trying to find a good indian restaurant to replace the one I loved in B,ham and then I found Spice Garden and have never been happier with the food,. if you like authentic curries that always taste fantastic then this is the place to order for delivery or collect.

Just reasonable priced. I would not sample the Indian cuisine there, though.

Absolutely disgusting food and Customer Service.....ordered a meal for 2 people...everything was undercooked the taste was awful , the lamb in the curry was rock hard ....missed out part of the meal ( Nan bread)....phoned to complain and got fobbed off and don't do refunds??? Disgusting Service will never use them again....im awaiting food poisoning 😡

Let down again.Third time ordered via JustEat (at 10am) and 3rd time cancelled by Spice Garden.Real shame the service is so bad as the food is very good.

Just had the nicest korma curry from here, would highly recommend if in the area. Food was delicious, staff were friendly, decent deals if you ring up. Would definitely order from here again if in the area!

Doesn't look much of a place tbh, but had our last 3 takeaways from there and all 3 were superb!!! Great prices and even cheaper if you pick up instead of having it delivered! I even keep picking different things off the menu, thinking SOMETHING has got to be at least a bit lacklustre...... but haven't had a bad meal yet. Highly recommended (and NO, I don't work there lol)

Has to be the best value for money in Swad. The food is consistently awesome, never upsets my delicate stomach. Always polite on the phone. The taste is always the same. Great local service.

Always order from spice garden and have never had a problem in the past ! But tonight was a very different story.Order our food at 8pm, arrived late at 9:45pm and was completely the wrong order! Rang them up to resolve the issue and just got fed a load of lies that it was on its way back with the driver will be 5 mins.20 mins later still no delivery of our correct food, so we call back again to then be told they are cooking the food now it will be 15 mins! It's now 10:15pm and we are still waiting on our order!It's now 10:30pm and we are still waiting for our order and to be honest we don't think it's coming as they have already taken payment when delivering the previous order that was wrong ! NOT a happy customer at all !

Brilliant takeaway with excellent staff and quick delivery.The staff is well mannered and trained.They usually deliver in 30 minutes.The quality food was excellent as well as the taste.Lamb meat and chicken taste fresh and delicious. All in all excellent takeaway. Highly recommend if you want some spicy and delicious food.....
