Fabulous beer garden and their own beer is fantastic. Very welcome rest point on walking up and down the cloud trail. Beautiful grounds Nd large car park. Has a carvery and a sandwich menu too. Will definitely come again.

Group of 9 people. Enjoyed the time there. Lovely location, plenty of room in the carpark. The Carvery was very good and the a la cart lamb and steak were enjoyed. The only comments were about the vegetarian meal, which fell into the add salt to make it tastier, trap. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed it and would go back.

Love the carvery. Lamb shank is awesome. Beer is good and atmosphere good too. Our table with a bit open right by the carvery and the bar with people walking past all the time which was a shame as it Is big place, but other than that one of our favourite pubs in the area. Never hesitate to go back.

I've been a customer at the Coopers since the beginning, and although I now live abroad, I always make a point of visiting when I'm back in Derby. The legendary carvery, a varied wider menu, a good selection of drinks, and friendly, professional customer service make the Coopers a great location to visit.I highly recommend it.

Absolutely lovely place, great themed decor and beautiful food.I would book ahead if you are planning a visit, we didn't and it was full on a Wednesday evening, they served us at a bar table right by the restaurant.A couple of vegetarian options available such as mushroom and chestnut stroganoff (on menu March 2022), my partner had this and loved every bit of it.I am planning to take my mum there for mother's day now 😁.

Amazing meal at the carvery on a Sunday early evening. Excellent service in the conservatory. The food was plentiful, piping hot and cooked to perfection. The choice of desserts was very good too.My only slight concern was carrying the plate of food up the stairs from the carvery.

Went for a birthday meal was a lovely meal. Had a car meet on so parking was restricted. Food was lovely and staff polite and friendly. Service was slow but was busy.
