Surprise birthday present of dinner and overnight stay. Lovely pub in a pretty village green setting. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable and the bar area has a nice cosy feel. The meal was top quality (roast beef / grey mullet) and the breakfast menu had a good choice, was beautifully cooked and was served in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Booked again already.

Only been here for drinks but its s beutiful old English pub in a gorgeous setting, village green etc.. The prices are a little high than most pubs but its worth it. The staff are polite, welcoming and knowledgeable. We will be back to try the food. 👍

Pub-restaurant-hotel. Tries to be all three and succeeds. Specialises in fresh fish menu (others are available). Rooms and service excellent. Pub regulars mix with guests for evening dining. Atmosphere , food and beers all good..

We booked in for breakfast and it was delicious. They even had a wedding party in and still made us feel welcome. Dog friendly too. Brilliant.

Had lunch with a large group of friends including dogs and kids and the team was really helpful and friendly. Our party was given the large room at the back of the pub which is beautiful and very light thanks to the enormous windows in the ceiling. The food was gorgeous by all accounts with some tasty veggie/vegan options and a large selection of fish dishes which a great surprise.

A lovely pub in a quiet location. You an sit outside and have a drink in a sunny day, whilst admiring the village green and lovely views. A good choice of wines and beers and very nice food is available in the evenings.
