I believe a lot of the food served, is microwaved, not made fresh

Excellent service & clean toilets.The Landlord & Landlady are friendly & keep a excellent pint of Guinness.I would recommend the place & shall be going again.

I haven't been in for a while but heard that new people had taken over. I called in for lunch and was not disappointed - it looks like they've re-established food from scratch. The menu was really good homecooked stuff and it looks like they really know what they need to do here. The beer was good too and I just love the olde world interior. It's a proper pub for proper pub grub and the service is proper too!

Okay for late night drinking. To be fair we had been at it all day and it was a better alternative to the hotel

wited 50 mins for the meal didnt have what we wanted food was terrible wanted the festive fare none on ,4 days before xmas no xmas food .only one barmaid on she did a great job.dont know if you had a chef there other people waited 2 hours and our meal was first

Food was good, service was poor. New management x5 weeks, I felt was defensive when I was overcharged for children's starters and dessert though ultimately knocked this off the overall price eventually stating he didn't want unhappy customers but it felt like i was somehow in the wrong. Food was good, typical of its chain. Maybe try again but currently the jury is out

Kids meal just under £5 for 3 fish fingers and 3 mini waffles. Disgraceful, drink extra, dessert extra.. very disappointed, staff brilliant, prices extreme.
