The Swan at Milton in South Derbyshire

Been here a few times and it is usually a great experience. We visited recently for a late lunch and shared a few tapas dishes. Food was enjoyable and lots of choice, but the service was a bit disappointing. Took an age to collect our dirty plates and didn't ask about more drinks. I had to get up and go to the bar, mid meal for our drinks. Wouldn't have minded any of this, but when the bill arrived we noticed 10% service charge added automatically, but being English we are too embarrassed to ask for it to be removed! Nice place though and worth a visit.

Great food with a varying menu. Often walk over with the dog as it seems so do many people. Always made to feel very welcome even on my first time visiting. Good beer, good food in a warm setting and welcoming environment, all at a good price. What more could you ask for?

Absolutely spellbinding food and loveliest service I've recieved in a long time. I was all by myself & the staff made me feel so welcome and looked after but seriously, if you love exceptional food this place is well worth a visit!

Fantastic village pub, great atmosphere. New chef...new menu....and the food is exceptional. Olly and his team were so helpful and very attentive. I can only imagine this going from strength to strength. Thank you.

Had a delicious Greek meal here cooked by the wonderful chef Andreas who we've known for years. Lovely relaxed place with a friendly atmosphere & great staff & service. We will definitely be back. Loved it.

Perfect little country pub with the added bonus of an incredible Greek restaurant. You have to try the Stifado, one of the best dishes Ive had in a long time.
