The White Swan in South Derbyshire

We really enjoyed having our lunch here. I had a hunters chicken wrap. It was nice to spend time eating &chatting & not feeling rushed to leave. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere.Just one thing I didn't expect was that I'd asked for no chips,so I just had wrap & salad. Was surprised no reduced was given for not having the full option. But perhaps I should have asked about this.Staff were very friendly. Prices were reasonable. We'd definately revisit!

Best pub meals and atmosphere in Derby. No question. Never had a bad meal yet. Its my favourite place to have a cold one and a meal when I'm in Derby. Keep up the great work guys.

After a long drive from Kent up to Birmingham then on to Derby. We popped into the White Swan for a drink and hopefully something to eat.Great meal and good service. A really lucky find.

Lovely local pub, friendly and helpful bar staff, darts and football on the telly, with outdoor sitting for the summer, what's not to like!

Went for the first time on Saturday,we had a really great meal and gin!! Beer, very nice place to go to,will definitely be going again, staff really helpful and friendly.

Lovely Sunday lunch carvery, variety of meats and veg. All cooked perfectly. Grand, will definitely go again. Staff organised and polite, knew how to deal with customers to make it an all round lovely home.

A real old family style pub. The home cooked Sunday lunch is the tastiest meal for miles around. Booking is essential as the get booked up very quickly, it's no good turning up on the day because you won't get a table! It's fabulous food for a great price, all veggies are self service and if you can't eat it all on the day they'll plate up what you've left to take home with you. I very highly recommend this pub. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Enjoy your visit!!

Had the steak & ale pie. It was possibly the best pie I’ve ever tasted. Staff was friendly & the overall atmosphere of the pub was delightfulSeptember 19 2021- had a Sunday roast It was exceptional.!! end of story
